Chevy Mall - Warm Others

Ordered a corvette watch from Chevy mall.com. I was charged $23.00 for standard shipping.

I received the watch but the receipt wasnt from Chevy Mall. The receipt was from Crusin Sports and the receipt said $7.00 for shipping. The container the watch came in was dented. Pay all that money for shipping and the item I received is damaged.

I emailed them that after I ordered the watch I couldnt log into my account. I was told if I want to purchase anything do it as a guest. Crusin Sports also had the same watch for $114.95. I paid $129.95 at Chevy Mall.

I also tried looking up the phone number on the net. I found a Chevy Mall in California but when I mentioned the name Shannon Kesterson she said thats not them. She said they only have Cars and parts and they are located at the mall. Shannon Kesterson has been the person emailing me about delivery.

There is no name on the email confirming the order. I have no problem with the price difference, but I do have a problem with the shipping difference and being told to log in as a guest after I registered on their site. ChevyMall.com claims they are the ONLY authorized business to sell authentic Corvette products. Crusin Sports told me the same.

Since I ordered from Chevy Mall and they had Crusin Sports send me the product I have to wonder if they are still authorized to sell authentic approved Chevy products.

Considering the reviews I would not be surprised they are no longer authorized but acting like they are by forwarding orders to authorized dealers and bumping up the price to make money. My first order is my last order.

I purchased two hats, one which was good quality. The second one is garbage. The sweatshirt I purchased is supposed to be a large. It Hass to be missed marked, possibly a medium. When I contacted customer service. It took them time to get back to me. The woman explained that I can exchange it or return it for a refund I asked for a return label. They told me they do not pay for shipping. I told him that was kind of hard to believe that they could not provide a shipping label. anyway, I got busy dragged out for a few weeks. I have emailed three times since with no response.

After contacting the BBB I finally received a email stating the supplier no longer carried the product. This is after 5 months waiting.

Chevy Mall was so SORRY they said I could have free shipping on my next order. That won't happen because I will NEVER ORDER from them again.

On 11/16/21 I ordered a Corvette polo as a gift for my son for Christmas. Today is 03/13/22 and I still haven't received the shirt. I have contacted them several times and given estimated dates, all of which have passed. I do not recommend this company.

The BBB is worthless and has no legal power whatever. I'm not sure how they obtained the undeserved reputation as Protector of the People or the Commerce Police, but it's all a myth. Maybe it's the catchy name.

Never again ordering from here. Its taken over three weeks since my items shipped with no tracking number for the items. Call cs to see if i could get a tracking number and they transferred me 5x before just hanging up. Seems like no one knows what theyre doing there!

Purchased an LED hitch light for 2020 Silverado for Christmas present. Wires way too short. Contacted customer service to return but denied because it was beyond the allowable time. Of course it is because I bought it in advance for Christmas! They suggested I spend more $ to purchase an extension cord. Also told me the fine print says it may not fit all truck's. They sell specialty Chevy accessories- shouldn't they know if it fits my Chevrolet vehicle. Feel swindled by clever misleading advertising. Beware.

I ordered a jacket for my father before Christmas & I checked my email that night and the confirmation arrived as a spam (kinda sketchy). However, as I check my bank account, they charged the amount for the jacket instantly.

A few days later, Im checking to see my order has been shipped through their website & it says no orders found so I decide to check my bank account again and it says they refunded me my order. They did not give me any notice & did not email me or anything regarding that they canceled my order, so now I am stuck finding a new last minute Christmas gift.

If I did not check, I would not have been aware that they had canceled my order & would have been waiting for it in the mail. I will not purchase from them again.

Sizing charts are inaccurate (too small)

Ordered a (AL622 XXXL) C7 Corvette Logo Jacket MJXCOR XXXL. I wear a XXL jacket for the past 30 years.

This jacket was TIGHT. It was barely a XL. The item description said they ran a little small so consider ordering the next bigger size.

I sent them an email explaining that I was disappointed in the jacket and would have to return it at their expense because the error was not mine. Apparently their size charts reflect the sizes of the average American of 70 years ago or possibly the average European size of today (did I mention it didn't have a standard zipper which has the pull on the right side?).

Here is the response I got:

"I am sorry that your jacket didn't fit. We have sold many of these jackets and usually one size up will work. If you wanted to exchange this item for any other item, we do not charge shipping on the replacement item. In this way, we split the cost of exchanges with you.

I am sorry, we do not cover return shipping expenses. Below are return instructions:..."

What good does free shipping on a replacement do if they don't have a size that fits me?

I sent a return mail indicating that they have lost a (another) customer forever because of their totally inaccurate size chart and lack of willingness to step up to a customer-centric return policy. I got no response.

Today I decided to leave a review of the jacket on their site. When I logged in and examined my order history I found they had deleted all my previous orders.

Pretty sneaky.

I was pretty disappointed as well as surprised. I expected much better treatment for a situation that was not caused customer caused. There are a growing number of shady Corvette product vendors on the internet.

While their attitude is not exactly shady, it reeks of product misrepresentation and poor customer service. I'm marking all future emails from CHEVYMALL as spam.
